わざと車にぶつかり、治療費をまきあげる「あたり屋」一家。父に命じられて、その危険な行為を繰り返していく少年の孤独な姿を、痛切な視線でとらえた作品。新聞の見出しとなった実際の出来事がベースとなっている。

A couple trains their small boy to run in front of passing cars and pretend to be injured, in order to demand financial compensation from the confused drivers. As accident fakers, they keep travelling across Japan until the police finally catch up with them. They are arrested, but the boy refuses to confess. Based on an actual incident that captured newspaper headlines.
